Meetings in Outlook Calendar

Overview

The calendar surface helps create a sense of awareness. In contrast, the meeting itself is where most of the work and coordination lies. We wanted the meeting to seem achievable, even if users were setting a complex meeting. The aim of the design was to make this area a more true reflection of the meeting— a tool to help run the meeting, and an accurate record of what transpired. Beyond the traditional tasks of scheduling and inviting attendees, we brought the richness of taking notes, viewing attachments and exploring maps.
